Security can sometimes seem like a never ending road. Every IT Manager knows that they need to go some way down that road, but at the same time, they know that they will never be able to eliminate every security risk. They have to draw a line somewhere. But where?

This paper looks at a minimum set of security controls that every organisation should implement to give themselves a baseline level of protection. This paper will say what those basic security controls are.
